DIAL is an information and advice helpline for disabled people and anybody with a problem connected to a disability issue. Our main office is based in Basildon but we cover the Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford and Thurrock areas of the county. We have now also branched further into the Southend area with our project for outreach advice and home visiting. DIAL's helpline is manned by a group of dedicated volunteers with a vast experience of the many problems facing disabled people. We can advise on a variety of issues faced by disabled people in their everyday lives from benefits to mobility and everything in-between.

We now have a selection of new and second-hand disability equipment for sale at our shop in Basildon Town Centre.  If you are looking for a wheelchair, walking stick, walking frame, commode or other small piece of equipment please check out our selection at very comparable prices.  All money raised is used to help the advice service to continue to help the disabled people of the district.  If you have equipment or goods that you no longer use or want then please consider donating them to DIAL knowing that they are going to a good cause.  We can collect and deliver equipment within a 3 mile radius free of charge but a small charge will apply outside of this area.
